In March 2015, partner institutions Brown University and the U.S. Naval War College came together for an event that debated an Atlantic cover story by James Fallows, “The Tragedy of the American Military.” Scholars and students from both institutions debated the civil-military gap in U.S. public life in two panel discussions. Mr. Fallows joined them for comments and questions via remote video link.

You can read a detailed report of the event on the website of the Watson Institute at Brown.
